Whether you are coming to experience our Holy Week celebrations or to discover our heritage, our step-by-step guide will ensure you enjoy a smooth, comfortable and hassle-free journey.

Surrounding Cities

Cuevas de Almanzora is very well connected by road to the main cities in South-Eastern Spain.

From Almería

Follow the A-7 towards Murcia and take the exit towards Cuevas de Almanzora/Vera to continue on the A-352.

From Granada

Follow the A-92 towards Guadix, take the A-7 towards Murcia and exit towards Vera/Cuevas de Almanzora.

From Murcia

Follow the A-7 towards Almería, take the exit towards North Vera y continue onto the A-352.

From Valencia

Follow the A-7 towards Alicante/Murcia, continue along the coast and stay on the A-7 until the exit for Vera/Cuevas de Almanzora, taking the A-352.

From Madrid

Follow the A-4 towards Andalucía and continue onto the A-43 towards Tomelloso. Then, keep going until you reach the A-3. Afterwards, follow the A-7 towards Almería, and take the exit towards Vera/Cuevas de Almanzora. Finally, remain on the A-352.

By Bus

Cuevas de Almanzora offers regular bus connections from Almería, Murcia, Vera, Garrucha and other nearby towns. The bus station is located in the town centre, just a few minutes from the main points of interest. 

By Train

You can reach Cuevas del Almanzora by train at any of the nearest stations:

  • Almería Intermodal Station
  • Lorca-Sutullena Station (Murcia)

The location of both terminals is well-connected. You can continue your journey from both stations by bus, car or taxi on your way to Cuevas del Almanzora. 

By Airplane

If you come from other regions or countries, the nearest airports are the following ones:

  • Almería Airport (LEI)
  • Murcia International Airport (RMU)
  • Alicante Airport (ALC)

All of them offer shuttle services and car rentals with direct access to the Levante Almeriense.
